Planned turnaround begins at Selat Hujan
The eight-week programme will renew safety-critical equipment and prepare the field for its next phase of infill drilling.
Haldrica has begun a planned turnaround at the Selat Hujan oil field, offshore Peninsular Malaysia. Production of around 64 thousand barrels of oil equivalent a day will be shut in for approximately eight weeks.
The work covers inspection and replacement of safety-critical equipment, compressor overhauls and tie-in points for the next infill drilling campaign. More than 900 people will work on the programme at its peak.
The turnaround was included in the production guidance issued with our FY2025 results. Group production for 2026 is expected to remain between 400 and 415 thousand barrels of oil equivalent a day.
Planned turnarounds are how we keep our assets safe and reliable for the long term. This one has been prepared over eighteen months.
