Since 2016
A small place, run by one family
Rohani and Faizal Hamdan opened the first two rooms in 2016, in the garden of their own house between the two towns. Today there are six places to stay, a vegetable patch that supplies breakfast, and a firepit that gets lit most evenings.
We keep it small on purpose. Rohani answers WhatsApp herself, Pak Faizal looks after the grounds, and the same two housekeepers have made the beds for years.

What we have learned from ten years of hosting in the highlands, and what we still do every day.
Six places, not one corridor
An A-frame under the pines, a studio suite, a garden room, a loft, a chalet and a villa, each with its own door and parking. Nobody walks past your window.
The price you see is the price you pay
Pick your dates and the total shows the nightly rate, the cleaning fee, extras and any tax that applies to you. Nothing is added at the desk.
Warm rooms for cold nights
Extra duvets in every unit, hot water showers, a fireplace in the villa and firepit evenings on request. Bring a jacket for the veranda.
Arrive when the road lets you
Traffic up the hill can be slow on holiday weekends. Arrive after the desk closes and a key safe code reaches you 30 minutes out.

We did not want to leave the deck
We woke up inside a cloud. The loft bed is warm, the deck is quiet and Puan Rohani left a flask of hot tea outside the door at 7 am. The road up is narrow, so leave in daylight.

No pets, sorry. The garden has resident cats and some guests have allergies.
