A tea and souvenir shop on the main road about 5 km up from Ringlet, looking over the Bharat Group tea estate. Tourism Pahang names BOH and Bharat as the tea estates with the best visitor facilities.

BOH Sungei Palas Tea Centre
Sungei Palas, above Kea Farm
BOH's hillside tea garden. The visitor centre and cafe went up in 2007, with a 20-foot balcony that hangs out over the tea rows. Tours with tea tasting run at set times.

Gunung Brinchang summit
Above Brinchang
At 2,032 m, the highest point in Cameron Highlands and the top of the highest road in Peninsular Malaysia. The road is narrow and steep: the council's directions turn off at the guard house on the Sungei Palas estate road.

Mossy Forest eco-park (Taman Eko-Rimba Mossy Forest)
Gunung Brinchang
About 2 ha of damp, moss-covered cloud forest in the Batu Gangan Forest Reserve, with a boardwalk, rest hut and lookout tower. Since April 2026 you can only go up in a registered tour operator's vehicle.

Kea Farm market
Kea Farm
Stalls selling local produce, flowers and plants at Kea Farm, the highest village in the highlands at 1,610 m, about 3 km beyond Brinchang. The road here jams badly in holidays.

Time Tunnel museum
Brinchang
A memorabilia museum opened in January 2007, with more than 4,000 collectables in eight galleries: old photographs of the highlands, a barber shop, a kopitiam, Orang Asli tools and a room on Jim Thompson, who vanished here in 1967.

A landslip closed KM43 of the Simpang Pulai to Cameron Highlands road in both directions; police sent drivers via Tapah.
A landslide at Kampung Raja near the Blue Valley junction blocked the Simpang Pulai / Lojing road both ways before dawn; it reopened at noon. The detours were Tapah or Sungai Koyan (Lipis).

A landslide closed FT185, the Gua Musang to Lojing road, at KM45 near Pos Blau. Drivers from Gua Musang were told to use Sungai Koyan, Ringlet and Cameron Highlands instead.
The Mossy Forest reopened, but private cars and walkers are no longer allowed up: entry is only in vehicles of tour operators registered with the district forest office.

After a fatal crash on 23 April, the Works Minister said guardrails, signs and solar blinkers were being fitted at 45 spots on the Tapah to Cameron Highlands road, due by 15 May.
A temporary diversion opened on the Gua Musang to Lojing road (FT185) at Pos Blau, closed since December. Drive with care.
After heavy rain a landslide half-blocked the Tapah to Cameron Highlands road near Batu 25 (Jalan Pahang), about 7 km from Ringlet. Reported 3.12 pm, cleared by 5.10 pm.
The district forest officer said the Mossy Forest park is closed for a while every rainy season for safety.

A landslide at section 1.4 of Jalan Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah in Tanah Rata closed the road temporarily at about 4.50 pm, and flash floods hit three houses and seven vehicles at Golden Hill, Brinchang.

JKR said the Tanah Rata bypass (with the Tanah Rata to Kea Farm and Jalan Griddle upgrades) is still at design and study stage, with no physical work on site yet.
Road works: FT59 in Brinchang (McDonald's roundabout to the Time Tunnel junction) is being widened from two lanes to four, with a one-way loop at Kea Farm. The 3 km project was 38% done and is due in February 2028.
